These are some pictures I took when I was riding in the car. Can you identify these buildings?
Hi 3K,
I am learning a lot of stuff at school. I have to sit in class from 7 am to 3 pm, no recesses but I do get an hour off for lunch. Yesterday, I learned first aid, and today I learned CPR and started Hazmat. I have to read a book the size of your science book in 3 days. It is a good thing it has a lot of pictures. I have lots of reading to do for homework tonight. Hazmat is Hazardous Materials.
I had an adventure yesterday with some of my new classmates. We had to go to the airport and pick up a rental car. I got to go to Washington D.C. and see some of the sites.
I hope you all are having fun without me. Did you get snow today? I didn't get snow. The flowers are blooming down here and it is spring already.
If you can't find the cork, get the kindergarteners to find it. If your losing it that much, your hitting it too hard. I am glad I got to see you too Quincy at the egg hunt. I had a lot of fun doing that. Jonas Brothers, that sounds like a good concert. Do a good job on your Starry Nights paintings, I wanted to do one. As you can see I have my computer up and running on wireless. I found it at the library of all places. I will write more another day. I have some more pictures of today to post as well.

I think the first building is the Lincoln Memorial and the third one is the Washinton Monument.

ReplyDeleteWashington D.C. is a huge city. I drive to work on a road that has 4 lanes in each direction and traffic goes about 75 mph. There are lots of people, buildings, and traffic in D.C. It is pretty right now though the flowers are blooming and the cherry blossoms are out.
It looks like spring at home but it is happening now instead of in May. The daffadils are almost done blooming, tulips are out and I even saw a dandilion.
Fire fighting school is like going to college. I have to sit all day and listen to a guy talk about hazardous materials. On Saturday I will start learning about fire fighting. I have a big test, 50 questions on Friday. It covers a whole book the size of your Science book. Lots of stuff I have to memorize.
Caleb, thanks for letting me know how Joey is doing. I miss going to classes with you guys. You all are much more entertaining than the adults I have to go to school with here. I think almost all of them are older than me.
Boys, you were right about the pictures. The were the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial and Lincoln Memorial. I hope to go to the museums on one of my Sundays off. I hope to be coming home to visit my family on Saturday night and Sunday for Easter. I just remembered that you guys get Friday off. Enjoy it, I will be sitting in class, working hard. I have to go study now.
